WHAT: 2020 is the year for the Prinster / Prünster family reunion. Four days of family activities will have "something for everyone, young and old" including: tours of the Prünster farm, meals together, site-seeing, walking tours, biking, hiking, and golf. Your designated organizer will communicate more details over the coming months.
WHY: The Prinster family roots are on a mountainside farm in the South Tyrol region of Northern Italy, near the town of Meran. Amazing! So let’s celebrate shared family history and enjoy a beautiful vacation in the Alps among family.
WHO: ALL of the American Prinsters are invited to reunite with European Prünsters the third week of June 2020. EVERYONE is invited! Tayana Prünster is organizing the European family and the organizers below are US-based contacts to help answer questions about trip planning.

WHEN: Organizers are planning a variety of activities (hiking, golf, site-seeing and family meals, etc.) June 18-21, 2020. Italy is eight hours “ahead” of Mountain Time. Please consider arriving in Europe a few days early to adjust for Jet Lag so you can be awake for the reunion activities.
WHERE: The city of Meran is located in the far north of Italy, near the Austrian border. For your travel planning considerations, Meran is equidistant between Munich, Germany and Milan, Italy as follows:
A 5 hour train ride South of Munich, Germany on the Deutsche Bahn (German Train) or a 3 ½ hour drive in a rental car.
A 5 hour train ride Northeast of Milan, Italy on the TrenItalia (Italian Train) or a 3 ½ hour drive in a rental car.

SAVE THE DATES: June 18-21, 2020 (add 1-2 days on the front end to adapt to jet lag).
BOOK your international flight for June, 2020 as soon as possible. Contact your designated organizer so we can keep track.
LODGING: A block of SPECIAL DISCOUNT RATE rooms (some with kitchenettes) will be available for Prinsters at Villa Bergmann in Meran. We will provide a registration form for those who RSVP to reserve your spot.
